Day by day
We pick you up from your hotel at 8am and drive towards Merzouga, crossing the Middle Atlas, a mountain range of 350 kilometres running from south-west to north-west. Along the way we pass through Ifrane, nicknamed the Moroccan Switzerland for the architecture of its houses, and Azrou, one of Morocco's best known Berber towns. We cross the Ziz valley and gorges and pass through towns such as Midelt and Erfoud. From Erfoud we take a desert track to Merzouga, where we spend the night in a hotel at the edge of the desert.
