Day by day
Early departure from your accommodation in Fes for a journey towards Marrakech through the Sahara desert of Merzouga. Along the way you discover the deep culture of the Berbers of southeastern Morocco. The tour starts from Fes towards Ifrane, known as the small Switzerland of Morocco. After a short tour of the town, we continue to the cedar forest at Azrou, where you meet the Barbary apes living in the forest, you can buy something to feed them and take photos. Crossing the Middle Atlas mountain range along the Ziz valley, we stop to take pictures of the second largest palm grove in Morocco, which stretches for more than 150 km. Stop for lunch at a local restaurant, then we continue towards the dunes of Erg Chebbi at the small village of Merzouga. On arrival you are welcomed with a mint tea and check in at the hotel to change clothes and start a new adventure, this time not by car but on camels. You ride camels across the dunes to discover the secret of this sea of sand, and stop on the great dunes of Erg Chebbi to enjoy the silence of the desert, the beauty of the landscape and the sunset. Dinner and overnight in a Berber tent at the foot of one of the highest dunes of Erg Chebbi.
